Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji, the founder of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (SRMD), is a modern-day mystic, spiritual visionary, and devoted disciple of Shrimad Rajchandraji. Known for empowering millions to find inner peace and joy, Pujya Gurudevshri blends profound wisdom with practical tools for daily living.
Born in 1966, He showed early signs of divinity and spiritual insight, leading Him to deep meditation and a natural mastery of scriptures. He holds an M.A. in Philosophy and a Ph.D. for His research on Shrimad Rajchandraji’s work, Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra.
Today, Pujya Gurudevshri’s teachings emphasize the transformative power of love, humility, and selflessness. He does not preach any religion, and His discourses have brought lasting change to many, fostering improved relationships, inner harmony, and an enriched sense of purpose.
Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (SRMD)
Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (SRMD) is a global spiritual movement dedicated to fostering inner transformation through wisdom, meditation, and selfless service. Founded by Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji, SRMD reaches seekers across six continents through 206 centers, including Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Canberra, and Adelaide. The mission draws its inspiration from the life and teachings of Shrimad Rajchandraji—a self-realized saint, scholar, and poet whom Mahatma Gandhi regarded as his spiritual mentor.
Beyond spiritual teachings, SRMD is committed to uplifting underserved communities through a unique ten-fold benevolent program. This includes initiatives in Tribal Care, Animal Care, Women Care, Educational Care, Child Care, and Health Care, among others. The mission operates a 250-bed charitable multi-specialty hospital in Southern Gujarat, providing essential medical services to some of the region’s most marginalized tribal populations. Shrimad Rajchandraji
Shrimad Rajchandraji was a reformer of Jainism, a self-realized saint, and a remarkable poet-philosopher of the late 19th century. He left behind a legacy that continues to inspire seekers on the path of self-realization. Mahatma Gandhi deeply admired Shrimad Rajchandraji, naming him as one of his three major influences, and dedicating an entire chapter to him in his autobiography, The Story of My Experiments with Truth. Gandhi described him as “the best Indian of His times.”
