The NSW Government has announced significant changes to the Cabinet and Ministry to enhance leadership across essential portfolios and ensure continued investment in vital services for the people of New South Wales.
Key Ministerial Appointments and Changes
The Hon John Graham MLC will retain his current roles as Special Minister of State, Minister for the Arts, Minister for Music and the Night-time Economy, and will now permanently assume the role of Minister for Transport. Additionally, he will continue to lead the Government’s response to the ongoing toll review, ensuring continued negotiations with toll companies to reform the system.
The Hon Jenny Aitchison MP will take on the roles of Minister for Roads and Minister for Regional Transport. With regional roads now incorporated into the Roads portfolio, her extensive experience as a regional MP places her in a strong position to advocate for the needs of rural and regional communities.
The Hon Steve Kamper MP will be sworn in as the Minister for Jobs and Tourism, in addition to his current responsibilities as Minister for Lands and Property, Minister for Multiculturalism, and Minister for Sport.

New Addition to the NSW Cabinet
The Minns Labor Government proudly welcomes Janelle Saffin into the NSW Cabinet. She will be sworn in as the Minister for Recovery, Minister for Small Business, and Minister for the North Coast.
Janelle Saffin is one of the most experienced MPs in the NSW Government and has played a crucial role in the recovery efforts of the Lismore community and surrounding areas following the 2022 floods and the recent impacts of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred. With her deep understanding of the NSW Reconstruction Authority, she will be a powerful advocate for the North Coast and small businesses across the state.
Parliamentary Secretary Appointment
Emily Suvaal will be appointed as the Parliamentary Secretary for Trade and Small Business. Parliamentary Secretaries play a vital role in supporting Ministers and driving government priorities in Parliament. Emily’s expertise and dedication will make her a valuable addition to the team.
Building a Stronger NSW
These critical changes to the NSW Ministry will help the Government continue to invest in the essential services that communities rely on and drive forward policies that build a better, more resilient NSW.
