If you’re worried about the cost of living, housing or climate crises, you’re not alone.
As a working migrant mother, an engineer and woman of colour, I’ve lived through the challenges of life, and I’ve brought this real-life experience to my politics.
During my time in the Senate, I’ve fought relentlessly for real action on the cost of living, the housing and climate crisis, and the fight against inequality and racism. I’ve been unwavering in my commitment to standing up for what matters to you. If re-elected, I will continue to be unapologetic in holding Labor to account – pushing them further on issues that impact your everyday life– and ensuring Dutton and his Trump like politics stay out of our parliament. This is about putting people first and with your vote, I can continue the fearless fight for you and our community.
In a wealthy country like Australia, it’s outrageous that so many are fighting just to afford the basics: a home, food and world class health and education.
We are in a housing crisis: young people can’t buy homes, rents are soaring, student debt is rising and mortgages are crushing families. Yet, both major parties shift blame to migrants and international students, while banks and supermarkets profit.
On the climate crisis, both major parties are taking us backward, accepting millions from fossil fuel corporations. Under Labor, more than 30 new coal and gas projects have been approved, and emissions are higher than under Morrison. Dutton’s nuclear plans only distract from real climate action, keeping coal and gas entrenched.
The truth is, the two big parties aren’t solving our problems. They’re stuck in the past, offering band aid solutions that fail to address the real issues.
But this electionwe have a chance to do things differently.
We can’t keep voting for the same two parties and expecting a different result. It’s time to choose something better.
The Greens are delivering real solutions to improve life for millions of people. We’re pushing for dental and mental health included in Medicare, free GP visits, affordable housing with rent caps and lower mortgages, and fighting to make corporate price gouging illegal to stop supermarket giants from ripping you off.
Unlike the major parties, the Greens don’t take any donations from corporations; we run on people power. Our plan to tax big corporations and billionaires will raise over $514 billion, and we’ll use that money to bring down prices and deliver world-class public services for all.
Now more than ever, we need Greens in the Senate to keep Dutton out and get Labor to act.
We must hold the major parties to account and make sure we strive for a compassionate and
kind society and a political system where we care for the community and the environment, not
the big end of town.
Together, we can create a better future with stronger action on housing, climate, and healthcare,
and make life better for millions of people.
If you want change, you have to vote for it.
This election, vote 1 Greens.
