A powerhouse of eclectic sound and unmatched stage energy is heading to Australia with thanks to Blaide.live.  Thaikkudam Bridge (pronounced Tie-kuh-dum brij), one of India’s most electrifying live bands, will bring their explosive fusion of Indian classical, folk and hard rock to Eora/Sydney, Naarm/Melbourne and the Adelaide Fringe in March 2026.

Known for their breathtaking musicianship, soaring vocals and cinematic arrangements, Thaikkudam Bridge has carved a global reputation as a genre-blending phenomenon. The collective seamlessly shifts from delicate ragas and Hindustani vocal passages to heavy guitar-driven climaxes, lush string sections and thunderous percussion, delivering a visceral and immersive live experience unlike any other.

With over 1000 concerts worldwide across the USA, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Australia and Asia, the band has become an international festival favourite. Their global appearances include Milwaukee Summerfest, NH7 Weekender, Independence Rock, Mojo Rising, YouTube FanFest, and Dubai Expo 2020, among others, earning them a fiercely loyal fan base across continents.

Formed with the vision of creating music that is global in spirit yet rooted in India’s diverse cultural landscape, Thaikkudam Bridge features a 15-member ensemble of nine vocalists and six instrumentalists hailing from across the subcontinent. Their collective influences span classical, folk, progressive rock, pop, ambient and electronic music, resulting in a soundscape that is as versatile as it is unpredictable.

Their debut album, Navarasam (2016), introduced audiences to a bold collection of songs that explored existentialism, socio-political commentary, rebellion, freedom and human unity. Their acclaimed follow-up, Namah (2019), elevated the band to new heights, featuring groundbreaking collaborations with legendary global artists including Guthrie Govan, Chris Adler, Marco Minnemann, Jordan Rudess, Pandit Ram Narayan, Pandit Viswamohan Bhat, Padmabhushan Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman, Ustad Rashid Khan, Niladri Kumar and more, cementing the album as a milestone in Indian independent music.
