Melbourne, April 24–25: The Melbourne Tamil Market (MTM), organised by the Australian Tamil Chamber of Commerce, concluded as a vibrant and highly successful two-day celebration, bringing together more than 40 stalls and attracting over 2,000 visitors.

The event showcased the richness of Tamil entrepreneurship and culture, featuring businesses across food, beauty, health, lifestyle, clothing, jewellery, wellness, real estate, legal, and financial services. The venue came alive with activity across multiple levels, including dedicated food zones, creating a lively and inclusive festival atmosphere.
The market commenced with a traditional inauguration ceremony, where ministers, community leaders, sponsors, supporters, and ATCC committee members lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the official opening and unity of the community.



ATCC Victoria was honoured to host several Federal, State, and Local Government representatives, whose presence highlighted strong support for multicultural initiatives and small businesses.

Adding to the cultural vibrancy of the event were performances by artists from India, including singer Sathyamagadev, alongside talented local performers who entertained audiences throughout the event.




The strong turnout and enthusiastic participation from both stallholders and visitors reflected the growing demand for platforms that support community businesses and cultural exchange.
