Both Whole Blood and Plasma donations save lives and are equally important.
A single Whole Blood donation can help save up to 3 lives.
Plasma is used to make life-saving medicines for people living with more than 50 medical conditions, including immune disorders, clotting disorders and severe burns. As plasma can be donated more frequently than whole blood, it plays a vital role in supporting patients who rely on ongoing treatment.
If you are eligible, we encourage you to consider donating plasma. Every donation, whether Whole Blood or Plasma, helps save lives and strengthens our community.
