Rekha Rajvanshi is a distinguished bilingual writer who has published and edited 17 books in Hindi to date. She has contributed extensively to Indian-Australian media.
Rekha was honoured with the prestigious National Award for Excellence in Translation by AUSIT (Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators) for her outstanding translation of Aboriginal Dreamtime stories. In addition to her literary translations, she has also translated and adapted several theatre plays into Hindi, including Sale of the Millennium, a full length play for Vipul Vyas.
In recognition of her literary contributions, Rekha won many national and international awards.
She has also performed as an actor in a few stage productions in Sydney.
