Members of the organising team from Saree Club visited the headquarters of ABC Bullion at Martin Place on 12 May for an evening of discussion, learning and exploration of potential community partnerships.

The visit commenced with a guided tour of the ABC Bullion showroom, followed by a presentation highlighting the history and evolution of the Pallion Group and its longstanding legacy in precious metals refining and jewellery manufacturing.

Attendees described the experience as both educational and inspiring. Bhumi, from the Saree Club organising team, said she was impressed by “the outstanding quality and purity” of ABC Bullion’s products and appreciated the openness shown towards suggestions and feedback. She also described the opportunity to hold the iconic gold Melbourne Cup as “so unreal”.
Dipika Gandhi reflected on the evening as “a fascinating journey into the world of precious metals”, highlighting the opportunity to learn about the history of bullion refining, the evolution of the Pallion Group and the connection to iconic Australian symbols such as the Melbourne Cup and Australian Open trophies.

Representatives from Saree Club shared insights into the organisation’s activities, its broader vision and its role as a cultural and community platform. Discussions explored possible future collaborations between Saree Club and ABC Bullion on initiatives centred around community engagement and cultural connection. The presence of Irfan Malik from the Australia India Business Council was also noted as adding momentum to conversations around future partnerships.
Among the evening’s highlights was an exclusive preview of the design for the upcoming 2026 Diwali gold coin. Organising team members praised the attention given to cultural representation within the design, including symbolic elements associated with Diwali traditions. Feedback provided by attendees was reportedly received with openness and a willingness to engage.

Namita described the gathering as “a very meaningful discussion” around the history and future direction of ABC Bullion, as well as investment opportunities in gold and other precious metals. She also expressed anticipation for the release of the 2026 Diwali gold coin.
The gathering concluded as more than a corporate visit, underscoring the growing potential for collaborations that bridge culture, heritage, philanthropy and community impact.

Saree Club expresses its gratitude to Irfan Malik from Australia India Business Council and Janie Simpson, Managing Director, ABCBullion for facilitating the engagement and creating opportunities for dialogue between industry and community networks. Sometimes, the most valuable things you take away from an evening are not made of gold, but of relationships and shared visions.
