Kapil ranked 39th nationally and 1st in South Australia, placing him among the highest performing brokers in the industry.
Each year, MPA Australia – a respected publication for mortgage professionals – identifies the brokers who have demonstrated exceptional performance, client service and industry leadership. Being included in this list is a significant achievement, and Kapil’s ranking reflects his long-standing commitment to serving clients with honesty, expertise and empathy.
Kapil said he was honoured to receive the accolade. “Success in the mortgage broking industry comes down to a combination of hard work, building strong relationships and always putting the client first,” he said. “I make it a priority to understand my clients’ needs and match them with the best possible solutions. Their trust is the foundation of everything we do at Think Mortgage.”
Like many in the industry, Kapil has navigated an environment marked by constant change. From shifting regulations to evolving client expectations, he has remained committed to staying informed and adapting quickly. “One of the biggest challenges has been keeping up with the ever-changing regulatory landscape,” he explained. “It can be daunting, but staying on top of policies and compliance is essential to delivering a seamless experience for clients.”
Looking ahead, Kapil is focused on enhancing service through innovation and continuous improvement. “In 2026, I plan to leverage new technologies to make the home loan process even smoother,” he said. “More personalised communication tools, faster application processing and ongoing training for my team will help us deliver an even better experience.” Kapil also emphasised the vital role his team plays in Think Mortgage’s success. “I’m incredibly grateful for the dedication and professionalism of my team. Their contribution is a big part of why we’re able to provide such a high standard of service. This recognition reflects their hard work as much as mine.”
When asked why Think Mortgage receives so many referrals, Kapil emphasised the power of trust and consistent service. “My clients send referrals because they’ve had positive experiences and know I’ll look after their friends and relatives,” he said. “I believe in being transparent, building genuine relationships and giving back to the community. I’ve been community-involved for more than 15 years, and those connections mean a lot to me.”
For Kapil, technical knowledge is important, but people skills remain paramount. “Both matter, but people skills often take precedence,” he noted. “Clients need someone who can understand their goals, answer their questions and guide them through major financial decisions.”
Ultimately, Kapil said what he loves most about mortgage broking is helping people achieve their dream of homeownership. “Being part of such a significant milestone in someone’s life is incredibly rewarding,” he said.
Kapil also shared a heartfelt message for the clients who have supported him and Think Mortgage over the years. “Making the Top 100 Brokers list would not have been possible without our incredible clients. I’m grateful for every referral and every opportunity to help.” He also expressed deep appreciation for his team. “I’m fortunate to work with such a dedicated group of people.
