The World Spiritual Forum NSW presented “Awaken Your Soul,” a spiritually uplifting event held on 11 April 2026 at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse. Sydneysiders gathered in large numbers to experience the divine presence of Sidhguru Brahmrishi Shri Guruvandanji Swami.

An alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, Gurudev is widely respected for his simplicity, wisdom, and global outreach. He has travelled to over 170 countries spreading awareness and service, and has received several international honours, including the “Jyotish Murmagya” award. His Shri Brahmrishi Ashram continues to guide seekers through Vedanta, inspired by Swami Vivekananda.

Gurudev’s discourse on tolerance, inner awareness, and service to humanity deeply resonated with the audience, leaving a sense of calm and positivity.

The entire event was conducted with grace and warmth by emcee Vrishali Jain, with distinguished guests Andrew Charlton and Julia Finn, who acknowledged the strength of Australia’s multicultural and spiritual diversity.

The programme featured soulful bhajans by the Marutinandan Group, devotional drumming by the Shivgarjana Group, Kathak performances, and vibrant presentations by Ruchi Sanghi’s dance group and Juhi Bhavsar’s Nrityam Group, adding rich cultural depth to the evening.

The following day, Gurudev continued his spiritual journey in Canberra, blessing devotees at Hindu Temple Florey, with meditation sessions led by Neetha Mehta.
