Rosehill Gardens Racecourse came alive with colour, music and community spirit on 25 July 2026 as thousands of people gathered for the Bharat Heritage & Multicultural Expo 2026.
Presented by E3 Events and Garvi Gujarat Australia, the Expo brought together community members, cultural organisations, businesses, performers and dignitaries for a vibrant celebration of India’s rich heritage and Australia’s multicultural identity.
The event was organised by Deepesh Parikh, President of E3 Events, Chetan Kusumgar, also known as C K, Chairman of Garvi Gujarat Australia, along with Ankur Patel and Parth Patel from Garvi Gujarat Australia.
From the moment visitors entered the venue, every corner reflected the colours and traditions of Bharat and the wider multicultural community.
The main stage featured an energetic program of traditional music, classical and folk dance, fashion presentations and cultural performances, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience throughout the day.
Visitors also explored a bustling marketplace showcasing authentic Indian cuisine, clothing, jewellery, arts and crafts, gold and diamonds, property services, home loans and a wide range of products and services offered by local businesses and entrepreneurs.
Cultural exhibitions and art displays provided guests with an opportunity to learn more about India’s diverse traditions, while interactive exhibits, community information stalls and family-friendly entertainment ensured there was something for people of all ages.
One of the major highlights of the Expo was the participation of multicultural organisations representing a variety of communities. Their involvement demonstrated the strength of Australia’s diversity and reinforced the importance of cultural exchange, inclusion and mutual respect.
Beyond the performances, food and shopping, the heart of the event was community connection.
Families, seniors and young people from many backgrounds came together to learn, share experiences and celebrate their cultures. The welcoming atmosphere reflected the growing role multicultural events play in strengthening social cohesion and creating a sense of belonging.
