Delighted to announce Mr. Daljeet Bakshi (Australia) as the recipient of the “Lifetime Achievement Award in Community Service & Multicultural Leadership” at the prestigious 15th World Leaders Summit, hosted by World Global Empire at the University of Oxford (Keble College, O’Reilly Theatre).Oxford UK.

With decades of service dedicated to uplifting communities, promoting cultural harmony, and empowering diverse voices, Mr. Bakshi stands as a global symbol of unity, compassion, and leadership. His lifelong commitment to strengthening multicultural societies continues to inspire changemakers across continents.
This year, leaders, policy-makers, influencers, and global delegates from 30+ countries gathered in Oxford to honour impactful individuals whose work is shaping a more inclusive and connected world.


In a media landscape increasingly shaped by diversity and digital storytelling, Daljeet Bakshi stands out as a journalist, media professional and community leader who has dedicated morethan a decade to amplifyin g voices that often go unheard. An accredited journalist with a strong background in strategic communication, Daljeet has built a career guiding organisations to connect meaningfully with their audiences, convey impactful messages and operate with greater purpose and efficiency.
Daljeet’s professional journey is marked by innovation and leadership. Daljeet is Editor at Desi Australia Media group Australia , Journalist with PTC News , PTC Punjabi ( SA ), Chief editor Cyd Media . Central to Daljeet’s community impact is his long-standing volunteer role as Coordinator for South Australia with Australian Sikh Support, a position he has held since 2019. In this role, he has organised and developed volunteer teams and led extensive relief efforts.
His commitment to service extends well beyond crisis response. Over the years, Daljeet has organised fundraising lunches ,organized & provided grocery and meal support for international students, vulnerable families and people experiencing homelessness, supplied essential kits to Housing SA, and coordinated free meals for people reflecting his belief in consistent, grassroots action. His volunteer work has also extended internationally, including relief efforts during floods in New South Wales and Punjab, India.


Mental health advocacy has become a defining focus of Daljeet’s work. As a Multicultural Mental Health Advocate and Ambassador for the Mental Health Foundation of Australia in South Australia, he actively works to reduce stigma and improve access to culturally responsive mental health support. Expanding his media work into this space, Daljeet hosts a bilingual podcast series, Between Worlds, produced through his media network as part of the Real Talk platform.
The podcast offers honest, nuanced conversations around mental health, wellness and the immigrant experience, creating a safe and relatable space for multicultural audiences. Daljeet’s leadership and impact have not gone unnoticed. He has received recognition and appreciation from state leadership for his contributions to community wellbeing, multicultural engagement and crisis response – acknowledgement that reflects both the scale and sincerity of his work. In addition to his advocacy roles, Daljeet serves as a member of the Multicultural Steering Committee for Port Adelaide Football Club SA, the Men’s Council of South Australia, and as a Multicultural Ambassador for Australia Day in South Australia.

His current projects include the MCCSA Taking Care of Me initiative for men from CALD communities, a Mental Health Foundation advocacy project for multicultural communities, and ongoing video and podcast productions focused on wellbeing. Daljeet Bakshi is Australia Day Ambassador in South Australia as well. Through media, leadership and service, Daljeet Bakshi continues to build bridges between cultures, conversations and communities. He remains deeply committed to contributing toward inclusive, empowered communities for generations to come.
After receiving the most prestigious award , Daljeet Bakshi said , ” I am deeply honoured and humbled to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award in Community Services and Multicultural Leadership at Keble College, Oxford University (UK), during the 15th World Leaders Summit UK, with delegates representing 30 countries. It was a great honour to represent South Australia and Australia on this global platform.

It was truly inspiring to connect with visionaries, fellow award winners, keynote speakers, and leaders from diverse countries, sharing ideas, experiences, and a collective commitment to positive global change.
