Hosted by Fruitnet Media International, the awards celebrated excellence in India’s rapidly evolving fresh produce sector across three categories: India Business, India Marketing Campaign, and India Impact.

KPN Farm Fresh, a leading greengrocer chain from Tamil Nadu, claimed the India Business Award for its rapid expansion, tech-enabled supply chain, and support for over 1,000 farmers. Once a humble push-cart vendor, KPN now operates over 150 stores across major South Indian cities.

The India Marketing Campaign Award went to the World Avocado Organisation, a global non-profit promoting avocado consumption. Its innovative campaign used localised strategies with Indian chefs and health influencers to drive awareness. In 2025, WAO partnered with Haldiram’s to launch ‘Desi’ avocado recipes nationwide, which resonated with Indian consumers and delivered over 25 million digital impressions.

Sahyadri Farms, India’s largest farmer producer organisation, earned the India Impact Award for transforming the lives of smallholder farmers through integrated value chains, sustainable practices, and value-added exports. With over 26,000 registered farmers, Sahyadri is a leader in grapes, tomatoes, and processed produce.

The event also saw Austrade (Australian Trade and Investment Commission) make a strong showing as Platinum Sponsor, spotlighting high-quality Australian produce from Avocados Australia and Summerfruit Australia. Austrade facilitated trade talks and hosted a market briefing to deepen Australia-India horticultural ties.
