Known for its community work and charitable initiatives, Prahar has continued to strengthen its role as a platform for social impact and community engagement. This year’s Biggest Morning Tea once again highlighted the organisation’s commitment to supporting causes that affect families across Australia.

The event attracted strong participation from people of diverse backgrounds, reflecting the multicultural spirit that characterises Sydney and the wider Australian community. Guests came together not only to contribute financially but also to show solidarity with those whose lives have been touched by cancer.

Cancer remains one of the country’s biggest health challenges, with millions of Australians impacted directly or indirectly. Funds raised through Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea help support life-saving research, prevention programs and services for patients and their families.

Throughout the gathering, attendees shared stories, enjoyed refreshments and discussed the importance of early detection and ongoing support for those facing cancer. The event also provided an opportunity for community members to connect while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Organisers acknowledged the efforts of volunteers, sponsors and supporters whose contributions helped make the fundraiser a success. Their commitment demonstrated how grassroots community initiatives can create a lasting impact and support national health priorities.

For many participants, the cause held personal significance. Whether through family, friends or colleagues, cancer has touched countless lives, making the opportunity to support the Cancer Council especially meaningful.

Community leaders praised the Indian-Australian community’s willingness to rally behind important causes and noted that events like these help strengthen social bonds while promoting awareness and compassion.
