The Harmony Week Family Picnic, jointly organised by the Dawoodi Bohra Community and Morialta Church Magill, was a vibrant celebration of unity, culture, and togetherness, held in the spirit of Eid. The event brought together families from diverse backgrounds, reflecting the true essence of Harmony Week – embracing multiculturalism and fostering mutual respect within the community.

The picnic featured a lively atmosphere filled with a variety of stalls offering delicious food, cultural displays, and engaging activities for all ages. From traditional delicacies to interactive family-friendly games, each stall showcased the rich diversity and shared enthusiasm of the community. Attendees experienced a warm and welcoming environment where cultures blended seamlessly, highlighting the strength and beauty of inclusivity.
A passionate and multicultural crowd gathered for the occasion, with people from different walks of life coming together to celebrate not only Eid but also the shared values of harmony, friendship, and community spirit. The event served as a meaningful platform for building connections, strengthening relationships, and appreciating cultural diversity.



This successful event was made possible through the dedicated efforts and collaboration of a committed organising team. Representing the Dawoodi Bohra Community were Zulfikar Adenwala (Public Relations Head), Nishrin Adenwala (Deputy Public Relations Head), and Dr. Murtuza Zirapuri (Community Lead – Adelaide), whose leadership and coordination played a key role in bringing the event to life.
From Morialta Church Magill, the event was supported by Minister Rev. Anne Butler, along with Church Council Members Bruce Ind (Chairperson), Margaret Cargill (Deputy Chair), Helena Begg (Secretary), and Carole Lyons (Treasurer). Their collective efforts and spirit of partnership were instrumental in ensuring the event’s success.
