In a rare blend of cinema and spirituality, the trailer of Krishnavataram was unveiled at the sacred Krishna Janmabhoomi, drawing thousands of devotees into an emotionally charged and deeply spiritual experience.

What began as a film promotion quickly transformed into a large-scale devotional gathering, as chants and prayers echoed through the temple परिसर. The launch extended beyond a single venue, reaching iconic spiritual sites including Raman Reti Temple, Radha Rani Temple, Prem Mandir and ISKCON Vrindavan – turning the unveiling into a multi-location celebration of faith.

A Cinematic Offering Rooted in Devotion

Positioned as the first chapter of a planned trilogy, Krishnavataram aims to bring the life and teachings of Lord Krishna to the big screen with both emotional depth and grand scale. The makers describe the film not just as entertainment, but as a sacred offering to devotees, crafted to evoke spiritual connection and reflection.

The trailer offers a glimpse into this vision, combining visual spectacle with a narrative centred on divine love, righteousness and the timeless journey of Krishna.

A Strong Creative Team Behind the Vision

Directed by Hardik Gajjar, the film is presented and produced by Sajan Raj Kurup and Shobha Sant of Creativeland Studios, along with Poonam Shroff and Parth Gajjar of Athashrikatha Motion Pictures.

The film’s storytelling is penned by Prakash Kapadia and Raam Mori, while the visual narrative is enhanced by cinematographer Ayananka Bose. The music, composed by Prasad S with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, adds an emotional and devotional layer to the cinematic experience.

A Global Release with Spiritual Resonance

Set for a worldwide theatrical release on 7 May 2026, Krishnavataram will be distributed globally by AA Films, with its music released under Saregama.

With its unique launch rooted in sacred spaces and its narrative anchored in devotion, the film is being positioned as more than just a cinematic spectacle. It represents a larger cultural and spiritual expression – bringing one of the most revered stories in Hindu tradition to audiences across the world.
