The Adelaide Convention Centre was transformed into a sea of purple as over 1,000 supporters gathered for the official launch of *Jing Lee MLC’s new political movement, *The Better Community**. The atmosphere was vibrant and unifying, with attendees from many multicultural communities coming together to support a leader they describe as approachable, compassionate, and deeply connected to the people of South Australia.

The highlight of the evening was *Jing Lee MLC’s inspiring keynote speech, which received multiple standing ovations. In her address, she spoke passionately about her vision for a fairer, safer, and more inclusive South Australia—one built on respect, opportunity, and genuine community empowerment.

She reflected on her years of public service and emphasised that *The Better Community is not just a political party, but a movement shaped by ordinary citizens who want to see positive change.

Her message of unity and shared responsibility resonated strongly with the diverse audience, many of whom have worked alongside her in community initiatives over the years.

With the *South Australian state election scheduled for March 21, the launch sets the tone for an energised and people-focused campaign. The overwhelming turnout and emotional response from supporters show that momentum for *The Better Community is rapidly building.
