Penrith’s brand-new world-class stadium has officially been named Helloworld Stadium, with Helloworld Travel announced as the venue’s inaugural naming rights partner. The partnership marks a significant milestone for the region as Western Sydney prepares to welcome one of its most modern sports and entertainment destinations.

The five-year agreement also represents Helloworld Travel’s first-ever sponsorship of a major sporting venue. As one of Australia’s leading travel companies, Helloworld operates a network of more than 2,000 independent franchise travel agents, connecting travellers across Australia and New Zealand with global travel experiences.
The new stadium forms part of the NSW Government’s multi-billion-dollar investment aimed at strengthening infrastructure across Western Sydney. The redevelopment reflects ongoing efforts to support fast-growing communities by creating modern facilities that link local families with jobs, recreation opportunities and major events.

Currently under construction and expected to open in 2027, Helloworld Stadium will seat 25,000 spectators for sporting events and up to 30,000 for concerts and large entertainment shows. The project is also set to deliver around 500 jobs during construction, while supporting more than 650 ongoing jobs once the stadium becomes fully operational.
The venue has been designed to enhance the fan experience with steeper grandstands that bring spectators closer to the action, along with large videoboards, upgraded sound systems, additional food and beverage outlets and improved amenities. Modern corporate spaces, enhanced security features and extra bathrooms will also be included.

Importantly, the redevelopment keeps the popular family-friendly hills that many fans associate with the original stadium. The new venue will also feature four gender-neutral changerooms, supporting the continued growth of both men’s and women’s sport while creating a more inclusive sporting environment.
Once complete, Helloworld Stadium will serve as the new home ground for the Penrith Panthers and will also host concerts, motocross events and other major sporting and entertainment experiences. The venue replaces the historic Penrith Park, which originally opened in 1967.

Speaking about the partnership, Steve Kamper said Penrith is entering an exciting new chapter, especially with major infrastructure developments taking place across Western Sydney. He noted that the stadium partnership and the upcoming Western Sydney International Airport will help position Penrith as a growing sport and entertainment hub while supporting the local economy year-round.
Local MP Karen McKeown described the project as a major step forward for the community, highlighting that it will create jobs and attract visitors, events and investment to the region for years to come. She added that the modern venue will provide a vibrant new home for the Panthers while bringing fans closer to the action.

Meanwhile, Andrew Burnes said the naming rights partnership marks a proud moment for the company and its network of travel professionals. He noted that Helloworld Stadium represents the company’s commitment to connecting people with memorable experiences – from exploring the world through travel to celebrating sport and live entertainment with friends and family.
